Meet Owner and Executive Chef of Chubby’s Burgers & Brewhouse, Chris Sarant. Chris was born in Manhattan where he grew up learning to cook from his father Nick, who owned a restaurant in NYC, and in his YiaYia’s kitchen. Then he moved to Charleston, SC where he worked in many upscale kitchens around the city which took his passion for culinary arts to the next level. Chris is known for creating unique flavor combinations and really showing off in the kitchen. He is all about using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to make the highest quality delicious food his friends, family, and customers have come to know and love.

Chris and his family have put their heart and soul into making Chubby’s Burgers & Brewhouse what it is. With the unending love, support, and literal blood sweat and tears of their family and friends, the Sarant's dream of Chubby’s Burgers & Brewhouse has become a reality.
